The Camp Istrouma Junior Lifeguarding program introduces youth to the exciting world of water safety and lifesaving skills. Over three engaging training weekends, participants will build confidence in the water while learning the responsibilities of a lifeguard through hands-on instruction and skill development. While this course does not provide lifeguard certification, it builds a strong foundation of knowledge, attitudes, and skills that will prepare participants to enroll in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course once they turn 15.
