Camp Istrouma is an outdoor facility with many acres activities, facilities, walking trails and more.  We are also a thriving ministry, and as such, we depend upon the generosity of our ministry partners for some of our upkeep and projects.  God has given us a vision for the future of this camp.  Camp Istrouma is here to continually minister to all of our visitors through: teaching children about Christ, encouraging the brethren, and building confidence and teamwork in corporations and business teams - and so much more.  You can be a part of that as you pray for us daily.  As God leads, would you consider helping us with some specific needs that we have?  Thank you for your prayers and gifts.  Below is a list of some current and projected needs:

1. Stump Grinding Services – We have several trees that were destroyed during Gustav leaving their stumps and partial uprooted root ball. 
2. Golf Cart - We are looking for a used or new EZ-GO Golf Cart that will be used by our maintenance staff. 
3. Walk In Freezer- used or new or discounted
4. Proofer- kitchen item for keeping food warm $1500
5. New Bridge- the old bridge is condemned and it must be torn down. We would like to build a new one but the camp cannot afford it. ($400,000 was our last bid) This is our connection to all our hiking trails and our ability to add more activities to the camp like Tree Top Zip-lines, High Ropes Challenge Cross ect. You may know someone that is willing to build at cost.
6. Canoes and Paddle Boats- we would like to add our fleet of boats
7. Mattress- we are in need of 117 new mattresses We have recently bought 25 new mattresses but still have more to replace. Capital Bedding is the local company that we have worked with. $100 a mattress
8. Carpenter- we always need help with special projects
9. Plumbers- discounted rates would be great
10. Electrician- to run outlets in the cabin bathrooms
11. Dishes- since the new Lake Lodge was built, the camp has eaten on paper plates. We don't have any dishes not sure what happen to the old dishes. We need serving dishes, plates and bowls, silverware, glasses ect. New or Used, would be great!
12. Crosses- please add to the Lake Lodge Cross Wall. Make it or buy it and add your campers name on the back of it. It is a nice reminder of what God did for us through his son Jesus.
