General Information: Istrouma United Methodist Camp, a beautiful 167 acre facility, offers a fully supervised week long camp experience featuring swimming, fishing, blob, 100 ft. water slide, 100 ft. zipline, 32 ft high climbing wall, hiking, canoeing, sports, arts, crafts, skits, talent shows, Bible studies, outdoor education, and a low ropes course. It's a week filled with fun, friends, and excitement

CODE OF CONDUCT (RULES): Please review these rules with your camper. Download here!

MISSION: The United Methodist Camping Program for children and youth is designed to develop an awareness of and appreciation for God's world and our place in it; to foster opportunities for Christian worship and fellowship, and to provide experiences in living in a Christian community.

ADMISSION: Camp registration is open to all children and youth without regard to race, color and religion.
 

COST: $260 for week-long Camps;  $240 for Younger Elementary Camp.

REFUNDS: In order to receive a partial refund a written notice of cancellation must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to the opening day of the session at which the camper is signed up.  A $50.00 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. There will be no refund for anyone who cancels within 30 days prior to the opening day of the session at which the camper is signed up.

CAMP ISTROUMA CAPACITY: There is a limited amount of sleeping capacity at Camp Istrouma; so sign up before we fill up!

WHAT TO BRING:

Bible, notebook, and pencils
Pillow, sheets, blankets, towels, soap
Sport clothing, swimsuit, rainwear
Flashlight, insect repellent
Money for snacks and group pictures
Camp T-shirt provided free!

For younger elementary group only. Safety Approved Life Jacket if possible: (Can be bought at  Wal-Mart)


WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Food of any kind, radios, walkmans, T.V., alcohol, drugs, tobacco, knives, ideas/supplies for practical jokes, and any non-Christian literature.


LENGTH OF CAMPS:

Campers should arrive between 8:00 A.M. and
10:00 A.M. Monday and be picked up by 10:00 A.M.
on Friday For all Camps, except Younger Elementary who should arrive between 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. Monday and who should be picked up by 10:00 A.M. on Thursday.


ROOM ASSIGNMENTS:
All room assignments are handled by the camp
director at each individual session. Any special
request must be added to the registration blank.
