Facilities

Camp Istrouma Retreat Center is located approximately 10 miles north east of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the picturesque and historic Greenwell Springs Community. The following facilities are built on 167 acres of tall pine trees and giant oak trees bordered by Sandy Creek:            

Lake Istrouma Lodge - This building is a beautiful 8400 sq. ft. under roof Acadian Style multipurpose dining facility located on our beautiful lake.  The facility has large event seating capacity,  state of the art multimedia system, majestic vaulted ceiling with rustic but elegant chandeliers, huge brick fireplace, 14 massive windows to see sweeping views of God's wonderful creation, 2 large porches with nice teak rocking chairs to see spectacular views of our lake and wooded areas.

We will rent this facility for all types of special events such as retreats, weddings, receptions, anniversary parties, banquets, picnics, mid week business meetings and much more.  For general information now call (225) 261-2089.

can be used for worship services or as a chapel for weddings.
 

                        Girl's Lodge

Lodges: (Two Available)

Each air conditioned cabin sleeps 72 campers and consists of: Four bedrooms with 18 beds in each bedroom, small kitchenette/meeting
room.
